Opening in late summer of 2008 The Ellington is a new build luxury boutique hotel, embracing a distinguished sense of place, offering contemporary style, cutting edge design and latest technology, each room having its own entertainment centre with plasma screen television, Xbox 360 and iPod docking station. The hotel is in the centre of the city of Leeds, only a short walk from the shopping area known as ‘The Knightsbridge of the North’; and within the heart of the financial and legal areas. The contemporary design and jazz theme will continue to run from the public areas into all the bedrooms, with velvet padded headboards, walnut trim, dark stained shutters, leather panelled wardrobe doors.
